Elisha’s Life Of Faith and His Servants Walk by Sight
2 Kings 6:14-17 NKJV Therefore he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city. [15] And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?" [16] So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." [17] And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
God's Word Is Sure and Reliable
Isaiah. 55:1, 10-11 Ho! everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat….
[10] For as the rain comes down and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, [11] So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, But it accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
We are Believers Who Stand On God’s Word When There Is Nothing Else to Stand On
Habbakuk 3:17-19 Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor there be fruits on the vine, Though the labor of the olive may fails, And the fields yield no food, Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stall, [18] Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. [19] For the Lord God is my strength, He will make my feet like deer’s feet and will make me walk on my high hills..
Seeing connote understanding.
Isaiah 6:9 And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing but do not perceive.’”
Unless we have understanding we will hear the promises of God, and even see His cations and yet miss the point.
The promise of New Wine is an answer before the question. When God offers us an answer, we need to ask, “What is the question?”

JOY: God’s antidote to all the negative emotions that suck the life out of man, take the taste out of their mouths, and dim the light from their eyes.
Joy is God's vaccination to the coming epidemic of pain, sadness, anger and the like.
2. RESTORATION: God’s Justice, His Recompense, His repayment with interest, His award of damages for all that one has lost, to make one whole, to make up for lost time, lost opportunities, lost income, lost health, lost joy, etc.
Restoration is God’s answer to the question of loss, even before it appears.
3. ABUNDANCE: God’s overflow of provision beyond our need.
God gives us abundance/surplus for the purpose of expanding His kingdom.
Abundance is God’s provision for the needs of others that He wants to supply through us.
4. PRESERVATION: God’s protective covering for His people from the evil and dangers that will be recorded in the year.
Our godly response is to try to bring as many as we can, under the saving grace of God. We must share the gospel more than ever before.
Preservation is God’s answer to the questions of safety and security even before the dangers are apparent.
5. HEALING: God’s nursing back to health and strength.
He will keep His people in health, safe and sound from disease. Should they be afflicted, they will be healed. Many who can trust God, will receive in 2025, healing from pre-existing conditions.
Healing is God's assurance that you will not die of the diseases that may kill many this year.

6. ANOINTING
God’s Purpose In Giving New Wine
“You need New Wine, you just don’t know it yet.”
This is the promised infilling-to-overflow of the Holy Spirit.
The ministry of the Holy Spirit toward man comes under three broad headings, namely, Salvation, Empowerment, and Defense/Preservation
SALVATION: conviction and confirmation
Conviction… John 16:8-9 LSB And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; [9] concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;
Confirmation…. Romans 8:16 NKJV The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
Seal… Ephesians 4:30 ESV And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:30 NLT And do not bring sorrow to God's Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.
2. EMPOWERMENT: Anointing with power and all the gifts of the Spirit.
Power… Acts 1:8 ESV But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Acts 1:8 NLT But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere-in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Before Pentecost they had received a measure of the Spirit but they were filled to overflow on the day of Pentecost.
John 20:19-22 ESV On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." [20] When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. [21] Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you." [22] And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
3. DEFENSE: Fruit Of the Spirit, Instructions, Wisdom and Counsel
Fruit of the Spirit… Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Peter 1:5-9 NKJV But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, [6] to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, [7] to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. [8] For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
Instruction and Guidance Psalm 32:8 NKJV I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
Isaiah 11:1-2 NKJV There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. [2] The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 LSB For wisdom is a shadow of protection as money is a shadow of protection, And the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the lives of its masters.
Children of God are never at risk when they are full of and yielded to the Holy Spirit.
Those filled and guided by the Holy Spirit will avoid danger both natural and supernatural.
Isaiah 30:21 NLT Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, "This is the way you should go," whether to the right or to the left.
Isaiah 30:21 ESV And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
Futile Altars and the Baal of Peor (Numbers 23 & 25)
All the altars of Balaam and Balak were powerless against the children of Israel for as long as they were obedient to God.
Numbers 23:19-21 ESV God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? [20] Behold, I received a command to bless: he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it. [21] He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob, nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The LORD their God is with them, and the shout of a king is among them.
When the enemy saw that their protection was too impenetrable, they changed their tactics. Their enemies presented as friends and deceived them, and invited them to join them in celebrations which soon proved to be idolatry.
Revelation 2:14 NLT "But I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sin.
The enemy tempted them to step out from God’s covering and went and joined with the Baal of Peor, and God had to judge them Himself.
Those led by the Holy Spirit cannot be deceived.
God wants to fill us with the Holy Spirit for WORK and DEFENSE.
The Holy Spirit is the seal of our salvation. If you are saved, you have the Holy Spirit. If you have the Holy Spirit, you are saved. .
However in order to do the work of God’s kingdom, we need to be FULL of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, we cannot do the work of God's kingdom and we cannot protect ourselves from the wicked one.
Zechariah 4:6-7 So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts. [7] ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone, With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’”
John 17:15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
Over the course of the ages, man has become more sophisticated. The kingdom of darkness has had to keep up by updating and repacking its tactics to suit the increasing sophistication of humanity.
Bad actors are usually one step ahead of security forces. Security forces are always playing catch-up.
We need the infilling of the Holy Spirit to PUT US AHEAD of bad actors, bad intents, etc
John 16:13 NKJV However, when He the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority m but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you of things to come.
1 Corinthians 2 wisdom hidden from the gods of this age.. had they known they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
The Gates of Hell will not prevail… but not for lack of trying.
Matthew 16:18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Jeremiah 1:19 They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the LORD, to deliver you.”
