Part 7 2026, The Year of Our Lord’s Side

Part 7, 2026, The Year Of Our Lord

Tuesday February 17, 2026

A year of the Lord’s Pleasure producing Great Grace

Great Grace will be poured out on those who please God. By our actions this year, we will trigger Great Grace.

2026 must be the year of the Lord's pleasure.

Most of the things we do are decided by what will bring us the most pleasure.

We must always stop to ask, "Will this be pleasing to the Lord?

A year of distinction between those who are on the Lord’s side and those who are not.

Malachi 3:18 Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked; between one who serves the Lord and one who does not.

The year of the Lord is not a year of judgment, but a year of choices. This is a year when we will have to make a choice. We will have to choose between the Lord and self, between the Lord’s will and our will. This is a year of Nevertheless, not my will but Yours be done.

This year, we must choose to be  on the Lord's side.

When Moses asked, "Who is on the Lord’s side, let him come to me” the response of God’s people was shocking.

Exodus 32:21-26 NLT Finally, he turned to Aaron and demanded, "What did these people do to you to make you bring such terrible sin upon them?" [22] "Don't get so upset, my lord," Aaron replied. "You yourself know how evil these people are. [23] They said to me, 'Make us gods who will lead us. We don't know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt.' [24] So I told them, 'Whoever has gold jewelry, take it off.' When they brought it to me, I simply threw it into the fire-and out came this calf!" [25] Moses saw that Aaron had let the people get completely out of control, much to the amusement of their enemies. [26] So he stood at the entrance to the camp and shouted, "All of you who are on the LORD's side, come here and join me." And all the Levites gathered around him.

Aaron, the priest, representing the office of a pastor in the Old Testament, had become too permissive. When Moses, the prophet, showed up, he drew a line in the sand. He made it starkly clear that they had gone away from the Lord.

They were still the Lord’s people, but they were no longer on the Lord’s side.

They did not care as much for what pleased the Lord as they did for what pleased them.

It is not enough to be called a Christian by name, we must actually be on the Lord’s side on every issue, whether personal, financial, social issue, or political.

Moses invited them to come to him as a symbolic gesture of returning to the Lord’s side. Only one out of twelve tribes came to him. Only one of twelve chose the side of the Lord. The other eleven chose to carry on pleasing themselves. I urge you people of God to not be part of the many who will not choose to be on the side of the Lord this year.

This is a sad pattern that we will see repeated many times in the life of the nation of Israel. Whenever the priests and even the prophets did not side with the Lord, they became permissive and allowed the people to go out of control, bringing shame to the Name of the Lord. God would send prophets who would challenge the people to return to the Lord, and time and again, only a remnant would heed the call.

Jeremiah 5:30-31 NKJV "An astonishing and horrible thing Has been committed in the land: [31] The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?

This pattern carried over into the body of Christ, as a cursory look into church history reveals.

This year, every true prophetic voice will be crying out, “Who is on the Lord's side?  Return to the Lord and He will return to you.”

Many prophets will still be prophesying breakthroughs, wealth and health, things that people want to hear to please themselves. But the true prophets will hear the Lord say, “Cry out!” They will ask the Lord, “What shall I cry?” (Isaiah 40:6)

  • When we live for ourselves, we are pleased, when we live for Christ, God is pleased.

To the immature, simple basic ideas sound radical, nonsensical and even impossible.

2 Corinthians 5:14-17 NKJV For the love of Christ compels us, for we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; [15] and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves but for  Him who died for them and rose again. [16] Therefore from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now, we know Him thus no longer. [17] Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new

As we mature, we no longer live for our own pleasures, but for the Lord’s. If we are still focused on self, we are new creations, alright, but we remain underdeveloped. A baby girl has the potential to one day become a mother, but at birth and for the first decade and half of her life, that potential remains underdeveloped.

Too many Christians are like a butterfly that is stuck in the pupa stage of its development.

Great Grace will be released this year.

There is a difference between grace and great grace.

Grace is initiated by God, but Great Grace is God’s response to man

Theologians have debated this point about Grace for centuries… some talked of common Grace in reference to God’s unmerited favor. This Grace is available to all of humanity, revealing Gods goodness to the wicked and the good alike. Then there is Special Grace, which is called in some circles, Saving Grace. This is Grace reserved by which we are saved.

But the Bible talks of another grace, which is given after salvation, by which men are enabled to do great works for the Lord. All these are given by God’s will. But when we talk of Great Grace we are now speaking of more grace, an increase in grace which is God’s response to those who pleased him with the grace they received.

whom God chose of His own will.

 Biblical Principle of Great Grace

Matthew 13:12 NKJV For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

Matthew 13:12 NLT To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.

Matthew 25:29 NKJV For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.

Matthew 25:29 NLT To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.

John 1:16 And of His fullness, we have all received, and grace for grace.

1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain for I labored more than they all, yet not I but the grace of God which was with me.

In all these instances, a proper use of grace, resulted in an increase of grace.

  • Great Grace is always God's response when His people please Him.

Acts 4:32-33 ESV Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. [33] And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.

Enoch found grace with God.

Hebrews 11:5 NKJV By faith, Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and he was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken, he had this testimony that he pleased God

Noah found grace with God.

Genesis 6:8-9 NKJV But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. [9] This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.

James 4:6 But He gives more grace, therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

  • In 2026, the Lord is ready to upgrade us.

2026 The Year To Embrace All  Of the Package of Grace from God.

Everything God has for us is in one package called Grace. We have received some grace, but this year God wants to pour out more grace than we have ever received.

We have become used to receiving from the Lord in a buffet style, wherein we pick what we like and leave what we don't like, what we don't understand on the table.

This is a year of rapid growth in grace for those who hunger because they will be satisfied.

We will see baby Christians, mature very quickly this year, while some who have been playing church for decades, will still act like babies.

The same Grace is available to all. The difference will be how much each person is willing (not able, but willing) to receive.

Grace grows, as we grow in grace.

2 Peter 1:2 May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

  • The rate of our spiritual upgrade this year will be rapid.

This is not a year of addition but one of multiplication. However fast you yield to God, that much you will grow in grace.

Sadly, some will see very slow growth because of their stubbornness, and others still will be stuck and  fail to grow,  which is actually a form of backsliding.
