• This is not a year to resist the Lord. Doing so will only slow down your own growth. 

• For as long as you are running the show called your life, you will be far from entering into the best that God has for you.

• There cannot be two captains of your destiny, and God will not fight you for the helm.

• Whatever You’ve been, God wants to make you better.

• Great joy… the intended outcome of the gospel.

• Christ, the anointed, is first introduced as Lord.

• Glory to God in the highest…  Glory has to go to God, higher than any other glory

• Peace on earth among those with whom God is pleased…. Peace on earth is not general but individual and corporate. 

• On an agenda, the end of one event marks the the beginning of another. 

• The enemy attacks an event/item more violently as its allotted time is winding down. 

• Fear not if your strength is small. God can strengthen and sustain you. Just keep on believing. 

• Give God the final say and silence the enemy

Gifts have to do with service, but maturity has to do with Christ’s character/fruit of the Spirit. 

God will use even the immature, because there is so much work to be done that if He has to wait for us to grow up, the work will suffer.

Love is the fruit of the Spirit.

Wisdom is inseparable from the fear of God.

Love for God must be balanced with a fear of Him. 

David’s love for God did not keep him from sinning with Bathsheba, but his fear of the Lord restored him.

Christian maturity is not determined by how much of God's Word one knows, but by a godly character.  

God's Word is intended to transform us, nor to merely inform us. 

If  forced to choose, an uneducated, but holy man of God, is better than to be a highly educated son of hell. 

Maturing is the process of coming out of the dark into the light. 

The opposite of not growing in Christian maturity is not a standstill. It is backsliding.

The ultimate goal of Christian maturity is full Christlikeness.

There’s no stagnation in the spirit… you are either growing or you are regressing. 

When did you last give up a behavior that is not necessarily sinful, but simply immature?

Some things in life are meant to be temporary. It is not wise to make them permanent. 

Wisdom is directed by the heart. Foolishness is not a matter of the intellect but of the heart.

• Because of how gentle He is, the Holy Spirit is easily ignored. 

• The world is constantly in your face so you must endeavor to get before God's face. 

• We Must All Learn How To Encourage, God’s Way

• Without encouragement, nothing good will ever get done.

• To encourage, we must start with telling the truth

• Sometimes the most godly thing we can do is to discourage people

• God Always Has a Remnant

• Remnants are simply those who remain… those who remain faithful to God, when everybody else has gone their own way

• The Holy Spirit never works in isolation. He always waits for the word.

• God’s mercy endures forever, not His patience.  

• Heresy is sometimes as simple as allowing bad doctrine to coexist with sound doctrine.

• Satan always rules in the place of spiritual compromise. 

• Persecution against the church is bad, but compromise is much worse. 

• When we face persecution we are standing with the Lord against the enemy. When we compromise, we stand with the enemy against the Lord.

• Fighting is unavoidable if we are to complete our mission, but fighting is not our mission.

• The greatest testimonies are not those of deliverance but those of faithfulness.

• You testify when God delivers you, but God testifies when you are faithful.

• Persecution has never succeeded in stopping the church’s growth. Harm is always caused by unfaithfulness by the bride of Christ to the person of Jesus, the Bridegroom.

• The goodness of the Shepherd is misinterpreted by the sheep as boredom.

• Boredom is a sign that there is peace. When there is danger nobody complains of boredom. 

• Boredom is a sign that there’s provision. No hungry child ever says. “I’m bored.”
