No matter what you lose in life, you're not a loser, unless you lose faith. Don’t be a loser! Don’t lose faith!

This was a powerful and timely message shared by Minister Brooke Mackall at a Youth Conference, in Jessup, Maryland.

The highest and best result of faith is the testimony we receive from God.

All through the scriptures, great emphasis is placed on the knowledge of God. 

Proximity does not guarantee intimacy. Lucifer was close to God, yet he sinned against God because he did not know God. 

When things do not go as expected, young faith throws a tantrum; adolescent faith pouts; mature faith trusts God enough to joyfully accept whatever God brings its way.

The ultimate purpose of faith is not salvation, or even answers to prayers. The ultimate purpose of faith is the knowledge of God.

God tests our faith from time to time. Additionally the scriptures exhort us to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith.

A gospel of works glorifies man’s effort. God is an accessory. It tries to achieve what only God's grace can give. 

The works of faith are in the middle of what God, the Father starts, and which He intends to complete. 

I am not good, yet I am loved. 

God is not only an on-time God, He is the eternal God.  

How can God be late, when He dwells beyond time?

If we know only the goodness of God, but not know His severity, our knowledge is hollow.

If we know only the severity of God and not His goodness, our theology is shallow. 

When things are going on well, nobody asks why. We simply enjoy our prosperity. When things are difficult when we are in the season of desolation, that is when we ask questions.

When we behold God in His glory we cannot help but respond like Ezekiel, Abraham, Moses, John the apostle and others in the days of old.

God’s models are imperfect. They teach us how awesome and glorious our God is … He able to use such imperfect vessels. The greatness of God is highlighted by the substandard materials He has to work with.

God can be with us and yet we fail to acknowledge Him; fail to respond to His prompting. 

Without a true inner transformation,  all we have is a phony outward show… hypocrisy.
